Upcoming Series on this Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks on Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) 

Join PHAP and IASC for an upcoming event series on accountability and inclusion starting this April 2023 

We are delighted to announce a series of events organized by PHAP together in collaboration with IASC members starting this 17 April and as part of the 2023 edition of the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW). These series of events will explore how to strengthen accountability to affected populations (AAP) and bring about the Participation Revolution as envisaged by the Grand Bargain.

Join us for six events – five webinars and a hybrid event – on how we can improve different aspects of accountability, bringing together global and local perspectives.

Building on the 2022 HNPW events on AAP and the 2021 event series on AAP, we will address the following topics:

  1. Every contact counts: Intentional accountability through the programme cycle (17 April 2023, 9:00-10:30 CEST
  2. AAP and humanitarian data responsibility (18 April 2023, 10:00-11:30 CEST)
  3. Leveraging social sciences for community engagement in humanitarian action (18 April 2023, 14:00-15:30 CEST)
  4. Empowering frontline staff to deliver accountable and locally driven humanitarian assistance (19 April 2023, 14:00-15:30 CEST)
  5. Launch of the Accountability and Inclusion Helpdesk (20 April 2023, 13:00-14:30 CEST)
  6. What should we change for greater accountability to people in crisis? (24 April 2023, 16:00-17:30 CEST)
